The calculator is relatively simple to operate and requires input values for DUSTEX® cost, length and breadth of the road being treated. Other inputs are the type of application and the percentage dilution required. A final input is the capacity of the tanker being used. As a part tanker cannot be used, the calculator determines the number of times the tanker needs to drive over the area being treated. To achieve an exact tanker load, the original percentage solids selected will probably be adjusted to compensate for this factor. It might be necessary to review the tanker volume in order to have more equally distributed loads, and this can be done by adjusting the tanker capacity. The actual quantity of water and DUSTEX® is displayed on the bottom right section of the calculator and is the exact dilution required for the selected addition of solids.
